How To Adjust Car Clock In Your Ford Car

Adjusting the date and time in your Ford car or pickup will be determined by the year and model. Vehicles manufactured during the 1980s and 90s typically utilize the “M” and “H” buttons which are adjusted to change the minutes and hours on the dashboard. However, newer Fords manufactured in the early 2000s and afterwards have instrument panels which display “Menu” or “Clock” buttons.

Ford Vehicles Manufactured Between 1980 and 1997

Step One

Click on the button which says “H” that will enable you to adjust the time by hour. Continue holding this button downward until its hour displayed matches the proper time.

Step Two

Click on the button which says “M” to set the proper time for minutes. Continue holding its button downward until its minutes displayed matches the proper time.

Step Three

Repeat the steps above when necessary to change the vehicle’s clock during daylight savings time, as well as other regional time adjustments. Bear in mind that a lot of the older Ford models will not display a PM or AM setting.

Ford Vehicles Manufactured From 1998 to 2004

Step One

Click then hold the button which says “CLOCK” while simultaneously using the right and left “SEEK” controls for setting the time and date. Fords manufactured during this period have clock buttons which are denoted by letters which say “CLK.”

Step Two

Click the leftward arrow in the button which says “SEEK” until its proper hour is displayed.

Step Three

Click the rightward arrow in the button which says “SEEK” until its proper hour is displayed.

Ford Vehicles Manufactured from 2005 to 2009

Step One

Repeatedly click on the button which says “MENU” until its timed clock panel displays the words “SELECT HOUR.”

Step Two

Use its down and up arrow button to display the proper hour.

Step Three

Click its “MENU” a second time until the panel displays the words “SELECT MINUTES.”

Step Four

Apply the down or up arrows to display the proper minutes.

Step Five

Click its “MENU” button a second time to confirm its clock time while disengaging its timed settings function.

Ford Vehicles Manufactured From 2010 until the Present

Step One

Click on the button which says “CLOCK” until its display panel shows the words “SET TIME.”

Step Two

Enter the proper time for minutes and hours by utilizing the numbers displayed within the dashboard’s instrument panel.

Step Three

Repeat the process in the previous steps when needed to adjust during daylight savings time. After the digits are entered, its clock should immediately begin running in the specified time.
