The Ford Ranger is powered by a turbo 4, 2.3 liter engine that can generate 270 horsepower with the ability to accelerate from zero to sixty in around seven seconds. It has a towing capacity of seven thousand five hundred pounds with a 1,850 pound payload capacity.

The Bottom Line

Pickup trucks are purchased primarily for their towing and payload capacity, and this is where the Ford Ranger completely outclasses the Honda.
