It also smoothly integrates Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and has tri-zone automatic climate control as a standard. For your safety, the long list it offers includes pedestrian detection, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, automatic high beam headlights, forward automatic emergency braking, driver attention monitoring, and a whole lot more.

The Acadia's 2023 edition is blessed with an eight-inch touch screen for infotainment functions. It has multiple USB ports, a satellite radio, and six speakers, but does not offer a Wi-Fi hot spot. Drive aids include a Teen Driver feature which is equivalent to the MyKey in the Ford. All other features are the same for these two SUVs.

Performance

As promised, the 2023 Explorer gets a great base engine, turbocharged to aspirate 300 horsepower. Settle for the V6 engine version and you will get a result of up to 400 horsepower. The four-cylinder engine under the hood of the Acadia, on the other hand, only hits a 228-hp mark, with another engine option that scores 310 horsepower.
